Why work at White Mountain Financial

At White Mountain Financial, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re a team of honest, trustworthy, and friendly professionals who are passionate about helping our clients make confident employee benefits decisions. If you value integrity, teamwork, and making a real difference in people’s lives, you’ll fit right in. We offer a supportive environment where you can grow your skills, deepen your expertise in employee benefits, and build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.

Who thrives on our employee benefits team

Our work centers on supporting HR leaders, business owners, and managers as they navigate health insurance, compliance, and employee benefits strategy. People who thrive here are curious, detail‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of follow‑through. If you enjoy asking good questions, explaining complex topics in plain language, and advocating for clients, you’ll feel at home on our team.

Our hiring and background check standards

We are committed to maintaining a trustworthy and professional team. As part of our hiring process, all positions and affiliations require background checks tailored to ensure the highest standards. These may include, but are not limited to, reviews of criminal history, professional conduct, regulatory compliance, errors and omissions, arbitration claims, financial history including credit reports and bankruptcies, as well as employment references. Our goal is to build a team that embodies integrity and reliability while supporting a safe and secure environment for our clients and colleagues.

Tools and setup you’ll need to succeed

To serve clients well, team members need a reliable and secure setup. Essential tools and capabilities include: a reliable computer (PC or Mac; Mac preferred), a modern smartphone, up‑to‑date security software, regularly updated software and hardware, and encryption capabilities to protect sensitive information. You’ll also need Microsoft Office or a compatible program, active phone service with voicemail, full office functionality whether working remotely or on‑site, and access to document scanning and a cross‑cut shredder for secure document handling. These requirements help ensure our team stays secure, connected, and able to provide the highest level of service.
