Renewal & Open Enrollment

For Employers

With renewal and open enrollment, we like to simplify things. Your candor is welcomed as we discuss your renewal and open enrollment. 


Note: In cases where a plan is discontinued or re-filed based on federal or state regulations, a carrier will "map" to a plan that closely resembles the current plan (referred to as "mapped plan"). 

Renewal Procedure:

1. Annual certification

2. Rate release

⭢ 3. Questionnaire (we are here)

4. We analyze your response 

5. Make plan adjustments (if necessary) 

6. Process renewal or new plan with carrier(s)

7. Employee open enrollment (effective on the renewal date)

If you inquire with staff, avoid questions regarding personal matters. An example question might be, "Has our plan worked well for you?" Make sure they know not to disclose private health or financial information.
